I have been clearing out some of this years photos taken on my Blackberry of various trips and sending them across to my PC before I delete them. I was amazed I had not noticed this one earlier! Take a look at the inside of the Golden Fleece pub in York said to be very haunted by various ghosts. We went in one lunch time on the trail of a pint or two and I took two photos one after the other in quick succession. Picture number two (mid centre imposed over lower picture on pub wall) has the face of a man staring back at me. This is the best one I have got so far, and my witness will testify this is no fake, I have no other explanation for this whatsoever.

As a special unexpected treat we visited Liberaces restaurant (now closed) Tivoli Gardens and were invited to view and photograph his private dressing rooms. The picture above shows an object or light below the small cabinet on the right near the armchair.
First stop was Green Valley Park where the ghosts of a lady from pioneer days haunts the picnic area, as well as two murdered children. Many orbs have been photographed there and I was lucky to pick some up on the camera as well as some strange anomolies:

I will write up a full review when I have read it but if volumes 1 and 2 are anything to go by, it will be a brilliant read... Having been a follower of the Fortean Times online Forum for a long while the books are collections of readers experiences as previously published on the site or in the monthly publication of the same name. These experiences range from ghostly sightings to ufo encounters, timeslips, and most chillingly for me weird telephone calls and anomalies. These arent a collection of archaic legends but modern day strange occurances which have been compiled and offered to the reader to decide what to make of them. Great stuff for the approaching cold dark nights under the duvet.....Energysaladhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14228355067063342818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432890297413629136.post-72779347224798254612010-07-20T12:26:00.000-07:002010-07-20T12:26:59.269-07:00Check out this great MSN Video: The Best Ghost Cases Ever Caught on TapeCheck out this great MSN Video: The Best Ghost Cases Ever Caught on TapeEnergysaladhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14228355067063342818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432890297413629136.post-41182431099845204282010-07-19T14:14:00.000-07:002010-10-13T11:08:40.547-07:00Energysaladhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14228355067063342818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432890297413629136.post-75611044483626741442010-06-21T08:08:00.000-07:002010-06-21T08:12:04.885-07:00New Warleggan orb photograph

Visited the church again today and glad to see that Rev Densham is being remembered. The painting, pictured below has apparentley been causing its owners problems for years and is has been exhibited at Phillips Clairvoyant live shows.

The painting of a castle standing on rocks first came to light when a lady called Mrs R bought it from a junk shop. At first she liked it but then it would fall off the wall each night despite her husbands attempts to reattach it. Her children took a dislike to the painting stating that they could see weird figures coming out at them.

After a while Mrs R got scared and gave the painting to Phillip in the hope that his psychic abilities could help.

After a while with no further problems the painting was given to the owner of a new age shop in Birmingham. It was hung up in the shop and customers often commented that the painting gave them eeries vibes and figures could be seen emerging from the canvas. The shop owner happily parted with the painting which then made its way to The United States and ended up in the hands of another couple who also tried their hands at ownership of the weird artefact. Before too long they were so freaked that they gave it to another medium after complaints of evil faces being seen and bad atmospheres.

Amazingly the painting did a full circle trip, eventually ending up back in the hands of Mr Phillip Soloman after the American medium had had enough

" I lent it out to photographer friends with an interest in the paranormal and the unusual, and other paranormalists, it quickly came back with some strange photographs taken of it too. One in particular of the tower in the painting came out with a brilliant bright light when taken in the dark, but when blew up or zoom in on the light, you could clearly see a figure in the middle that looked sort of like a sixties hippy figure. Zooming a little closer and you could clearly see the face of a Viking warrior. Other photos showed perfectly clear globes with a white spot right in the middle. Other pictures were taken that showed what looked like a Victorian figure, a Romany vargo caravan, sometimes with people, sometimes not and ghostly figures in the clouds. Perhaps more alarming were claims that one of my friends upon waking, saw figures coming out of the tower and the painting itself and a general feeling that just wasn't very good."

So the paininting remains in Phillips possession as he has no plans to sell and feels that perhaps it belong with him.

Good luck!Energysaladhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14228355067063342818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432890297413629136.post-68827369983604200682008-06-24T00:30:00.000-07:002008-06-24T00:38:43.146-07:00Dunster Castle Simulcra
Heres a bit of fun simulcra taken at Dunster Castle gardens. He remained there for some days until he was found. Afterwards he was buried in Plymouth despite his wish to have his ashes scattered near the church he loved.

We visited the church on a bright spring day and found ourselves at the end of the drive that leads to the church. It was here that a sightseer took some photographs of two companions and found that a third unidentified figure was among them. Reported sightings of an old man in a long dark coat and hat are common and the atmosphere inside the church is unnerving to say the least. I stood near the altar and took a few pictures and tried to say how sorry I was for this poor soul who is still around Warleggan to this day. The photograph above shows an orb and some kind of glow near the main door. I was very grateful to Rev Densham and I am sure I will be back there again soon.Energysaladhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14228355067063342818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432890297413629136.post-7484879210100569592008-06-12T09:54:00.000-07:002010-06-21T08:08:23.551-07:00Ghosts in Cornwall; Warleggan Orb Photograph

After reading the story about this place and the sad story of the parish vicar Rev Fred Densham many years ago; this place was high on my list of must-visit places in Cornwall. The church in the little village of Warleggan known as St Bartholomew holds a peculiar atmosphere and I was more than happy when an orb turned up one one of my photographs.

Reverend Densham lived here between 1931 and 1953 and never seemed to hit it off with the locals. By all accounts he was a kind man but highly eccentric and his forward thinking spiritual beliefs did not sit well with his parishoners. After disputes over the church organ being sold off for charity and Denshams beloved dogs running around farmland disturbing sheep his services at the church became devoid of worshippers. Densham lived at the neighbouring rectory and created a garden for the children of the village to come and play in but no one ever came there. A rumour has circulated that he made card board cutouts of people and seated them in pews and preached to them but this is untrue. He did however sometimes write names of people on postcards and place them in the church to remember them in his prayers.Energysaladhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14228355067063342818noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6432890297413629136.post-77053592632858485402008-06-12T09:33:00.000-07:002008-06-12T09:46:25.705-07:00About meI first became fascinated with old places, buildings, myths and ghost stories when I was very young mostly thanks to books by Peter Underwood whose descriptive writing and detailed accounts fired my imagination and an urge to check out places for myself.Energysaladhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14228355067063342818noreply@blogger.com0
